I'm a fourth-generation lifelong Meriden resident who grew up in the 83rd and a Meriden City Council Deputy Majority Leader with over two decades of service to the community.

I’m running because I see every day that too many families are being squeezed, and government hasn’t kept up with the challenges they face. As a public school teacher, I see how rising costs, an unfair tax burden, and underfunded schools make it harder for families to get ahead. We need practical, responsible leadership that puts working families first, invests in strong public schools, and makes sure everyone has a fair opportunity to succeed.

My commitment to the residents of the 83rd District:

  • Public Education: public dollars belong in local public schools. I’ll fight to keep them there so every child in the district has access to a quality education.

  • Affordability: the cost of living continues to rise. We are all feeling it. I will push for a tax structure that prioritizes seniors and working families and reflects Connecticut values.

  • Safe Communities: our first responders show up when it counts. I’ll make sure they have what they need to do their jobs well — keeping Connecticut safe and strengthening the communities we call home.

  • Workforce & Opportunity: good jobs and economic growth don’t just happen on their own. I will strengthen our workforce through investments in higher education, skilled trades, and policies that give young people a reason to stay and build their lives here.
